Hello, fellow resonators, hope you’re all well…
So, what have I been doing and contemplating in week 14?
Well, I’m feeling great this week because of these 3 reasons.
No. 1… I didn’t weigh myself! Sorry, but it’s star week and I couldn’t do that to myself. (Sorry for all you men listening.)
No. 2… I’ve been good this week not eating at night. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to eat anyway. There’s soooooo much to do before book launch, and, because I’ve not made a big deal out of myself (it’s an English thing), It won’t be a very big launch. But you’ve still got to do all the right things, haven’t you?
This week I’ve been asking myself if the list was held in front of me at the beginning… (which would have been by a giant with his arm raised, so it didn’t touch the floor) …would I have had the energy to start?
As it stands, and as always, the universe has brought me little chunks of this massive list at a time, making it easier for me to digest.
No 3… Speaking of digestion… Paul McKenna, in his “I Can Make You Thin” book, says that chewing your food 20 times before swallowing can help, not only with digestion but with making sure your body has the time to recognise that it’s full. I believe he’s got a point.
We’re in a society where we eat and run.
Does anyone still sit around a table at mealtimes as a family, relax and chat without staring at their mobiles anymore?
Do people have enough time on their lunch breaks at work or do they have to ram as much down them as they can?
And, as I’ve said before, this “mindful” eating plan of mine must also be about how we eat, not just when, why, and what sorts of foods.
It all has to be taken into consideration.
I believe my body lost the plot when I did. Eating too fast, eating too much sugar, eating at night, eating when I wasn’t even hungry! I’m surprised my body hasn’t gone on strike. Instead, with all this confusion, it thinks (because of the data) that I need to store my fat for a rainy day, and that I wish to remain that way.
So, how do I trick my body back into behaving how I want it to, send it the right signals, tell it I wish to lose weight, I want to shed the fat? I need to make sure it’s filled with decent foods, so it’s not hungry, but not stuffed either.
We need a happy balance.
Anyway, as planned, I’ve been doing my Resonating Meditation for slimming and Resonating Affirmation this week (when I’ve had the chance), and I can feel them working again.
That’s because I’m reminding myself more often, that I’m actively doing something and the rest of me seems to be agreeing… hmm, like there’s some attractive force.
Anyway, I’m going to get my lovely fella to make some Resonating Meals for me this week and post the recipes.
And maybe he can remind me to drink lemon water as that’s the only thing on my tick list where I’ve failed… I’ll go and have one right now, actually!
Resonating foods I’ve had this week…
Salad, salad and more salad.
Mushroom and sprout fry up with shredded carrot and soy sauce… yes, really it’s beautiful.
Butter beans with mint sauce as a snack.
More yoghurt raisins… not too many as they’re so expensive.
End of week result…
I think green all the way this week!
I will hopefully stay on track for another.
Until then, keep resonating.
