What is The Resonation Diet?
IT IS MINDFUL DIET THAT I STARTED AT THE BEGINNING OF 2019.
WHY DID I START MY OWN DIET?
HAVING TRIED ALMOST EVERY DIET OUT THERE, I WANTED TO CREATE A NEW APPROACH, A MINDFUL WAY OF EATING, ONE THAT RESONATED WITH MY OWN LOGIC.
THIS BLOG SHOWS MY WEEKLY PROGRESS AND “STRUGGLES” ALONG THE WAY.
After years of using negative affirmations and wiring a warped view and attitude towards foods and drinks into my system (neurological programming), I’ve decided that a new approach is paramount.
It’s not about food anymore; those of us carrying extra weight need a new way of thinking and feeling about the way we nourish our bodies for optimum health and weight. Resonating System is a book that goes into more details about how our beliefs can affect our conditions. Additionally, Resonating Meditations, Resonating Mantras and Resonating Affirmations help too… but there’s more to it than that. We need to learn why our habits towards food are the hardest to crack, and why, no matter how much we lose, we always tend to gain it back when we slack off. We must understand why it isn’t easy to form new habits and what to do in order to solidify them; this way, when we do slack, our subconscious knows how to guide us to the right foods instead of us reflexively reaching for the easy crap foods we are used to.
One of my worst “Resonating Affirmations” I’ve been saying for 25 years, and therefore have had a hard time removing from my neurological pathway is “No matter what diet I do, nothing seems to work… my fat is stuck to me.”
I know that until I start saying and feeling things that resonate with the best version of my body, then I’ll always stay stuck where I am. The new belief I am reaching for sounds something like “I know there’s a diet out there that’s right for me and my body, and I trust the universe will somehow make me stumble upon this diet and it will light a spark in me that actually changes my mind (hence vibration) and mantra into a better belief. Finally, I’ll know I have found something I can stick with for life, a diet that doesn’t leave me hungry, miserable or craving for unhealthy food.”
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been stuck at heavier points and have gotten my weight down with bouts of this kind of concentration, but until a new, truly believable “resonating” belief like the long winded one above sticks to me, I will keep having the universe delivering to me what I actually feel.
We always get what we want when there’s no contradiction or fear of it coming in our vibration that’s why the inability to lose weight is hard. Yes, we really would love the body of our dreams… but we also want the cakes, crisps, chips and chocolate and would feel deprived if we had to give them up. This struggle has been ongoing for me the last 25 years. Until we realise we’re not actually giving up anything but just changing our diet to accommodate healthier fats and sweets, such as fruits, then both our guilt and desires will keep us in a vicious cycle of wanting to lose weight but never getting there.
Losing junk food will be just as great as losing weight because I know it’s bad for me. Also, finding an exercise program that I enjoy and can stick to will also help me feel stronger and more in shape — and what I feel, I become!
I also read (and formed the belief), that the extra weight on my body could somehow subconsciously make me feel and act stronger, or helps me to believe I’d be less likely to be attacked, or more likely be able to defend myself, or at least not go flying if struck. It was when I became a single parent that two extra stone crept on so what I read made sense to me—I had to be mum and dad to my two boys…maybe I needed to have the bulk.
Does my subconscious believe the fat serves me in some way… or is it my ego keeping it on and sabotaging every one of my diets because I feel vulnerable being slim? Do I subconsciously feel I’ll be more likely to be attacked? If this was the case, I’d only need to find reasons that the weight loss will serve me more. I’d only have to believe I’d be faster and fitter and leaner so I can run quicker or kick faster and harder if necessary.
What I do believe, and therefore keep telling myself at the moment, is that my body, and its natural structure, has a memory and that it can be lean and trim again.
What I want is to be healthy, fit, and make intelligent choices about the foods I put into my body so I can live longer and pain-free. After all, the oil we put in our car engines determine how long the car lasts.
What I know is that whatever I put my mind to, I can do, therefore I know I can easily lose weight and keep it off forever.
What I can say that resonates at the moment is: I am getting a leaner and fitter mind-set each day. I’m resonating with more healthy foods now than ever before. I’m enjoying eating healthy. And the universe knows what’s best for me and is always plotting to bring me what I need, want and desire… so I know it will bring me a lean body too.
